As many times a year as you need, Long Beach Heating and Air Conditioning goes to your business to thoroughly inspect the operation of all your heating/cooling systems to assure that you will not be surprised with a malfunction in the hottest or coldest time of the year.

We perform the following inspections:

Spring Changeover to Cooling
Fall Changeover to Heating
  • Install gauges and check operations
  • Check voltage and amperage to all motors
  • Check air temperature drop across evaporator
  • Check refrigerant charge
  • Lubricate all moving parts
  • Check belts and adjust tension
  • Replace air filters
  • Check pressure switch cut-out settings
  • Check electrical lock-out circuits
  • Check all wiring and connections
  • Calibrate thermostats
  • Check all starting contactors
  • Clean condenser coil and check air temperature
  • Calibrate thermostat and set heats
  • Check and adjust all safety controls
  • Clean and adjust pilot assembly
  • Inspect heat exchanger for any obvious crack or burnouts
  • Check for gas leaks in furnace
  • Lubricate all moving parts.
  • Replace air filters
  • Check flue pipe
  • Check amperage on motors
  • Turn exposed dampers to heating, no balancing
  • Check belts and adjust tension
  • Check temperature rise on furnace
  • Clean burners and heat exchanger
